The Real Is Back - Shawn Sky

Introducing Shawn Sky and oh how fitting is that name because the sky is definitely the limit. Shawn came into 2021 with one thing on his mind; put the rap game on notice with Gods Don't Break. The project sets the tone from jump with Fresh Air. Let me paint the picture for you; its the heart of the summer, you pull up in your freshly washed whip, top off and its something good looking in the passenger seat, you pulling through your block and every head turning, nodding letting you know "I see you bro!". Now put that on wax, voila!

Shawn Sky continued through all 13 tracks, setting a tone, displaying amazing lyrical flexibility the way he switched it up song to song but kept the quality on ten. Shoutout to his selection in producers [and shoutout to the producers] because this is the epitome of art. Very meticulously pieced together with different resources, sounds & vibes, ordered and placed perfectly to create one complete masterpiece. If y'all like RAP, this is the guy for you. I have had the honor of speaking with Shawn and the way he raps matches the man. Higher level spirit matched with true substance. I guess its a bit of a quandary that gawd is so down to earth [see what I did there] In all seriousness, it really might be something in that Virginia water.
